Indoor plants have recently become a must in cool interior trends, they create a welcome touch of calm to your home, are known to be calming and purifying. They can improve your focus and improve your health, not the first things you’d think of right when you go to select a plant?
The first question I get when someone is choosing their plant, “Is this difficult to look after”? Or “I always kill plants”.
Here I’ll give you some simple tips on how to keep your plant alive, with correct watering, light and nutrients.
- Watering your Plant!
You can kill your plant by over or under watering, generally the plant (depending on type) will need watering once a week, so the best tip is to set a reminder on your phone, that way you won’t forget!If there is standing water in the pot this is not great for your plant it will kill it!! Selecting the best space in your home, obviously you have purchased this beautiful new plant to pretty up your home, but it needs the correct environment to thrive.Plants need sunlight in order to grow and survive but not direct light, avoiding window ledges.
